Fancy spending some time in the beautiful Swedish wilderness, whilst getting the opportunity to learn about and live with us, our sled dogs and horses? Come and help us for a couple of weeks or longer set up our Swedish base camp!
After several years of traveling around Europe, especially Scandinavia, we have found a wonderful place located in the heart of Sweden, close to the higher mountains, for us and our animal tribe. As we think it is a sustainable project worth sharing, we are keen to welcome visitors willing to help us make this project come true and take care of our dogs, cat and horses.

We run an association for huskies and former sled dogs and regularly have new dogs coming and staying with us before they move to their new families.
Pets welcome!
You can bring your own animals - even a horse!, as long as they are nice and friendly - or handled appropriately. As a rule, dogs must be kept on the leash, but there will be fences to let them run free.
Let us know when you contact us if you have an animal, and some information about them.
Bring your own pet food :-)

Helping us 5 days a week, with flexible hours depending on the day/week program and priorities, the weather, etc. The weekly organisation is discussed and mutually agreed on
2 weeks stay - or longer (!)
It must be a win-win situation and an enriching, pleasant experience for all of us!
The Humans
We are a very active couple in love with animals, nature, everything outdoor (except hunting), travels, and much more! After having helped and volunteered ourselves in different places, we want to offer the same opportunities that we had to travel and discover new things and places in exchange of a helping hand.
The area
The house is located in the countryside, with good road access, about one hour from bigger towns, and 20 minutes from the local grocery shop.
Ideally situated for hiking, running, bird watching, fishing, cycling, daydreaming. We love the area because it is remote yet not that far from civilization! Nature is all around, there's a beautiful view, and we have a nice and friendly neighbour about 200m away.
Don’t rely on public transport to reach our place (!). Vilhemina Airport is about 1.5 hour away. Train station 1 hour. Picking-up upon agreement ;-)
